When Farmers State Bank wanted to reimagine their presence in West Salem, Ohio, they turned to SGA for help. Utilizing a property adjacent to their existing downtown location, we designed and built a newly imagined, community-centric branch and administrative space. The new facility features an exterior walk-up teller window specifically designed to accommodate the unique needs of the local Amish community, enhancing access and reinforcing the bank’s commitment to serving all residents. The existing building was carefully razed to make way for expanded parking and a small green space for all to enjoy. Through innovative design and a focus on community impact, SGA successfully delivered a project that blends functionality, accessibility, and local charm, solidifying Farmers State Bank’s role as a cornerstone of the West Salem community.
